We remember the check for a short time
The computer remembers which questions appeared, the math answers, whether they were correct, and the suggested WZ starting point. This helps the next question fit the answers already given.
Your result appears on the screen
The result is not automatically emailed to Wise Zebra staff. A family can print it or save it as a PDF before leaving the page.
Staff can learn without knowing who you are
Wise Zebra staff may see the starting band, WZ starting point, skills to strengthen, and which questions were correct or missed. They do not see a student name or contact information with the result.
A WZ starting point is not a label
The short check samples only some math skills. The suggested starting point can change as a student learns and should not be described as a school grade, diagnosis, score, or permanent label.
